standard attainable by our organization and we make every effort to abide by the guiding principles for non-profit

Community Services in New York State, and the Maryland Association of Non-Profit Organizations.
The top reasons why this organization does not offer tax-deductible options to our supporters at this time
include: part of our programming is currently geared towards advocacy and lobbying for policy, which is an
activity prohibitive of tax-exemption; the cost of registering and maintaining a tax-exempt status is so high that
we believe our funds are better spent towards actual programs and relief efforts than to pay those special fees;
our volunteer support-base is not currently able to handle the extra regulations imposed on tax-exempt
organizations.

General, anonymous geographic information and page-access by our visitors is monitored by our web-control
